Modular two-rail conveying system / stacking function within the rail / fully automatic control / high reliability

Weil am Rhein, August 2009. In respect of their Power & Free solution the Conductix-Wampfler AG places emphasis on a compact design with stacking functionality within the rail. The two-rail conveying system is robust and at the same time very flexible. The transport carriages are pulled along by the power chain that is equipped with fixed chain dogs that mesh with the travelling gears beneath. By means of stoppers and skid ramps the travelling gears can be stopped automatically, stacked closely packed and then be separated again. Carriage spacing and travelling speeds are variable and can even be chosen individually for individual chain circuits. The control can moreover be connected to a higher-level control unit. Both the installation with minimal space requirements and the elimination of malfunctions is simple due to the modular design with easy replaceable components.

The Power & Free system of Conductix-Wampfler can be used as a guidance system in manufacturing, but also for target-controlled material flow in coating plants, as intermediate storage facility in production, as sorting storage or as buffer to bridge different manufacturing intervals.
